Thank you again for providing our parish with such a blessed and fruitful mission. You and John are truly doing the work of God and I feel very fortunate and blessed to have been part of your ministry. What a joy you bring to those whose faith is stagnant, frustrated or just wavering. Jerry and I will continue to pray for you both and your ministry, for you truly do have so much to offer people. May God’s peace and love continue to be with you both, Lisa Schmidt, Millington, TN

I would like to thank yo so much for your beautiful and uplifting concert here at St. Mary’s. When I heard the word “evangelizer” I thought “What are we getting ourselves into here?” Was I surprised! You evangelize with warmth and humor. You talk about life situations and praise God from your heart which is very apparent when you sing. When you talked and sang, it seemed to touch each person. You even included the children in your concert and songs. That was very refreshing! You recognized the elderly so warmly and talked with the rest of the people is if you knew tham. What a blessing you are! I thank God for sending you (and John) to us! God bless you in your mission. Marilyn Turner, Parish Secretary, Covington CT

It was a wonderful evening for the ones present and the ones who were not... missed out on an evening and a person that, like the poet says, passes through our lives but once and stays forever! I am richer as a person, a Christian and as a priest from being with you. I, as in all those things, also need to see and experience fellow pilgrims who are not afraid to speak of the meaning in life and relationships and to love God in a deeper fashion. Fr. R. F. Horan, Pastor-Hapeville, GA

Katrina & friends @ CCMA.JPG Thank you for your sincerity and obvious love of the Lord. I am not Catholic but came to see your concert because I was intrigued with what it might be like. I have never seen anything so uplifting which also put Jesus in the spotlight Dan Phillips-Evansville, IN

I taped your witnessing and shared it with my cousin-in-law in Memphis. On his answering tape, he cried as he remembered your words. Not often do I have a chance to share an experience that touches my heart so deeply and have it received in the same manner. Thank you for sharing your self and songs with us. Phebe Erwin-McMinnville, TN

Katrina Rae, in her concert, shared a story of her own struggle with pain in her life. She spoke of its debilitating power. What was fascinating to hear about her eventual healing by God was the approach that she took. As she shared some of the turmoil that made up the brokenness of her life, especially her repeated miscarriages and the loss of her adopted daughter in a bad adoption, she told us that she continued to pray; she never stopped praying. However, her prayer to God was the request to take away the hurt and pain. She prayed that the Lord would enter into her heart and grab up all that was crippling and cart it off to the dump of brokenness. She believed that if God would do this, her life would be mended, and she could serve the Lord with greater vigor and commitment. Her prayers were not answered...UNTIL, she realized that it was not God who had to come into her life and take away the pain, but rather it was she who needed TO GIVE THE PAIN OVER TO GOD. She needed to relinquish control and to offer the brokenness of her life experiences back to God. She was asked to allow God to embrace them, and to heal the wound left behind. What a completely different perspective Katrina offered! Healing came, in her life, when she was able to trust that God would, in fact, accept the pain she was offering. (Excerpt from Parish bulletin) Fr. Ben Berinti, pastor-Orando, FL

Your words and your hymns danced in my mind on the drive home and bits and pieces highlighted my late evening. I hope they do for quite a while in the future. MaryAnn C Kelley-Strasburg, OH

Thanks again for sharing your special gift with us. If any of the other people there were half as influenced as I was with your performance, I know they also will be encouraged to share God’s gifts with others. Thank you again and again for listening to God and singing Christian music. Jerry Paulausky- Roanoke, IN

John & Kathleen 2004 005.jpg Thank you for helping to remind me that prayer is so important in my life. Your concert was a real inspiration. I hope all the fortunate people who hear you perform and hear you talk are touch in the way you touched me. Kay Crouch-Smyrna, TN

Your performance on EWTN's Backstage was very touching and moving. The love of the Lord shines through you and your singing. The story of your adopted son shows the strength of your faith which is an example that many people need to see. May the Lord continue to bless you and your ministry. Mark Hargrave--Slidell, LA

You have touched us and we have grown! You have made a real imprint on our lives. The Franklins-Dale City, VA

We thank you for your willingness to bring your ministry of faith, love of God, and music to our parish. We were inspired by the concert. I think the turnout of people was gratifying as was their evident enjoyment of the evening. God bless you and keep up the excellent work for God. Fr. Richard W. Frank, pastor-Jefferson City, MO

I continue to marvel at how beautiful your voice is. What a wonderful gift! What a wonderful message you deliver! Phil Jones-New Albany, IN

Yesterday, we knew not your name. We thought we knew it all! Life could not be better or fuller or have more meaning. God knew better! Today you came into our lives. You taught us what we thought we knew. You taught us what we did not know but needed to,to see our Savior. You made us made us more complete. Transfiguration Parish Evangelism Team-Marietta, GA
